Nearly every night before I go to bed I will make a little chia pudding mixture to chill in the fridge. Then I'll toss it in the blender with all the other ingredients.
Do this to get a concentrated dose of ingredients into your smoothie. Plus, chia is easier digested when it has been soaked, and the nutrients will absorb into your body a lot faster.
Make your own chia pudding
In a small bowl or cup:
1 - 2 tablespoons of chia seeds
1/4 teaspoon of turmeric, cinnamon, ginger
1 tablespoon of flax seed meal
1 tablespoon of hemp seed
3-4 tablespoons of hemp milk
1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar
Mix all the ingredients well, cover, and store in the fridge. After it has chilled over night, or until it is a thick paste, it is ready for your blender.
